Under indirect supervision, provides, oversees, and/or administers a wide range of psychosocial evaluation/assessment, diagnostic, counseling therapy, crisis intervention services in a clinical environment. Provides clinical assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills to Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder consumers that are treated with individual, family, and/or group therapy in an outpatient setting. Case management/supportive services for disposition of cases is also a core function of this job.
Education and/or Experience:
Doctorate or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, counseling, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university. NC full or provisional licensure required. LCSW and LCAS staff are expected to complete first evaluation training and provide first evaluations in the community.
