Summary: The Nextgen Ambulatory EHR Training Coordinator provides direct training and training coordination for the agency’s custom implementation of NextGen Practice Management and Electronic Health Records suites. Training will encompass newly-hired personnel, continuing education for existing personnel, and agency-wide training for modules/versions being newly deployed or re-deployed with enhancements. The trainer will leverage select existing staff at agency facilities and develop their skillsets to make them content experts that can augment the availability of the training coordinator. The trainer will maintain a continuously relevant curriculum and facilitate the development of Daymark-specific online resources to complement NextGen’s canned eLearning offerings. This position will also help inventory the technology capabilities of other provider agencies and individual practitioners operating in Daymark’s regions and train staff on tools that represent the most viable means to facilitate Electronic Health Records exchange. The trainer will stay abreast of HIE offerings and facilitate the development of an integrated care mindset with Daymark providers by leveraging the technology resources available to them.
Education and/or Experience: Must possess at least a High School Diploma; but, prefer a Bachelor degree in clinical or education.

Electronic Records use in a Behavioral HealthCare environment
Healthcare data sharing tools such as Direct Messaging
Content building in an eLearning environment such as Adobe Presenter, Camtasia, or Xerte
