We are thrilled to share that Daymark Recovery Services is now celebrating twenty years of dedicated service to the communities of North Carolina.
While founded in August of 2003, Daymark officially took over services from the Davidson County Mental Health Center (a county department of government) on January 1, 2004, and delivered our first day of services in Lexington on January 2, 2004. Over the past twenty years, we have provided care to 349,645 unduplicated persons.
The foundation of our success has been to focus on service to all citizens of our communities, not just persons who had sufficient health insurance or mild illness. Coupled with this foundation has been continuous innovation in terms of both efficiency for the delivery of care services and an effort to marry behavioral health to physical health. These foundations are put to the test daily and have been in a continuous improvement process over the past twenty years. We have our incredible team to thank for our current and future success.
