Welcome to Good Hope Psychiatric Hospital, operated by Daymark Recovery Services, Inc. Good Hope Hospital is located in Erwin, NC only 5 minutes from our Daymark Outpatient Clinic in Harnett County. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the numerous mental health and substance abuse services available in Harnett County, including this psychiatric hospital. We currently have 16 adult psychiatric beds to assist in your behavioral health recovery journey. Persons eligible for Good Hope Services should be struggling with a behavioral health condition that needs more treatment than available in an outpatient setting. Symptoms could range from needing medication adjustments to treating symptoms so severe persons are in an acute crisis. Acute crisis can be defined as feeling unsafe for yourself or others, having extreme mood swings, anxiety or other thoughts and behaviors that are not well controlled. Secondary substances use illnesses are also eligible for treatment, be it detox or induction for medication assisted treatment. A referral to our inpatient psychiatric unit may be made in one or more of the following ways.
- Indirect Referrals: Come to our Harnett Outpatient Office during business hours for an assessment and a referral. Typically business hours are from 8am to 5pm, M-F, non-holidays.
- Walk-in: *Coming February 15, 2025* you may come to the Good Hope Hospital 24/7/365 for an assessment and referral to our psychiatric unit or other level of care that may be helpful.
If this is your first time please bring the following with you:
- Insurance/Medicaid Card
- ID or Social Security Card
- Any referral documentation
Payment Options
- Individuals with Medicaid have no obligation for a copay.
- Individuals with Medicare or private insurance will be obligated to meet their policy's requirement(s).
- Individuals who are uninsured will be eligible for a sliding or discounted scaled as defined by the relevant Managed Care Organization/Local Management Entity
What we do here
Daymark Recovery Services is a non-profit organization established to provide comprehensive behavioral healthcare services as defined by those in the community in need of mental health or substance abuse treatment options. All of our staff are highly qualified individuals with a plethora of knowledge to suit individual care as needed. Each of our facilities has a core set of of service options available, however; some centers offer various group meetings or community outreach programs according to the service area. Please contact the center for schedules or further information as these programs and meetings vary and often change depending upon attendance and counselor availability.
