January 1, 2025
We are excited to share the news of a major milestone in behavioral health care for Harnett County! As of January 1, 2025, Daymark Recovery Services has officially assumed operations of the psychiatric unit at Good Hope Hospital. This transition marks a significant step in enhancing access to high-quality behavioral health services for our community.
What This Means for Harnett County
This collaboration between Alliance Health, Daymark Recovery Services, Good Hope Hospital, and Harnett County Government will bring significant improvements to local behavioral health care, including:
• Enhanced Services: Expanded mental health care options tailored to the needs of the community.
• 24/7 Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC): Opening early this year, the BHUC will provide crisis-focused, walk-in care to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits and hospitalizations.
• Consolidated Outpatient Services: By late spring 2025, all outpatient behavioral health services will be integrated into the Good Hope Hospital campus, streamlining care for residents.
These initiatives align with the nationally recognized Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, ensuring innovative and sustainable care for years to come.
